B-VET Project Presented at the EU “Skills & Decent Jobs” Workshop in Uganda

The B-VET Project successfully participated in the “Skills & Decent Jobs Workshop” organized by the European Union Delegation to Uganda on 16 April 2025 at Fontis Hotel Kampala.

This participation marked an important milestone for the project, strengthening its visibility at both national and European levels and highlighting B-VET’s role as a key initiative supporting skills development, vocational education, and sustainable economic growth in Uganda.

During the workshop, the project’s main objectives and activities were presented, with a strong focus on:

  • strengthening Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems,
  • aligning training with labor market needs,
  • empowering youth, women, refugees, and persons with disabilities,
  • promoting digital education through the Virtual Learning Hub,
  • and supporting sustainable economic and agricultural development.

As part of the Team Europe Initiative (TEI), B-VET continues to foster collaboration between European and local institutions to create inclusive education and employment opportunities in West Nile and Northern Uganda.

The workshop also provided an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and strengthening partnerships with stakeholders working toward decent jobs and inclusive economic transformation in Uganda.

We would like to sincerely thank the European Union Delegation to Uganda and all project partners for their continuous support and collaboration
